This building is registered as a California Point of Historical Interest, and is the oldest remaining Bob's in the United States. It was designed by well known Los Angeles architect, Wayne McAllister, and built in 1949. For more information on the architecture, go to the wikipedia entry for Bobs, here.

The solar power system is in two installations. One is on the carport and the other on an adjacent building housing a Starbucks. The solar power system, engineered by HelioPower, includes Canadian Solar photovoltaic modules.
