I really don't understand why HOA are restricting and making such a hustle to give grant for solar systems.
There is now more reason than ever, to take advantage of solar panels for homes, and help making the environment greener. With the danger of global warming becoming increasingly real, everyone should do what he or she can to help out including HOA.

This is the definitive synopsis of HOA's and solar. Fortunately, as the author has pointed out, the vast majority of HOA's are solar-friendly. Consequently, my customers have had no problems whatsoever with their installations.
